The man who saw the future - and was ignored

.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Seems to have been the case. And the man was a military man himself. Was played like a violin by some. But at least he woke up to what was happening. Many didn't heed his advice and are still asleep despite the cacophony of marching boots and war drums. Oliver Stone using the clip in JFK was a stroke of genius and has brought it a new life and relevance.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

I think Stone had the big picture pretty well defined when it comes to JFK. I remain impressed with the film for this reason.

He also hints, I think, that there was an understanding between hawks in the US and Soviet intelligence and military that JFK was a threat to perpetual war - and that no one wanted that nice little earner to come to a sudden end.
