"...the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today -- my own government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government, for the sake of hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent." Martin Luther King Jr., April 4 1967

"...as 2013 ends a global poll finds that the country seen as representing the greatest threat to peace today is ... the United States.
Not only did the U.S. top the list with an aggregate of 24 percent, but the runner-up threat country, Pakistan, was way behind at eight percent. China was third at six percent, followed by North Korea, Iran and Israel at five percent each."

While a poll is opinion, this is also IMHO fact [at least for #1 - I'd, personally, order the rest differently and add some]. It comes as no surprise to me, living outside of the USA. Even here in relatively US-friendly territory, they are friendly only to the American People and 'culture' [whatever that is]...but most average World Citizens who are following World events see correctly that the USA is the new Empire and is not a benevolent one! Sadly, few of my fellow countrypersons yet see this reality - even as their own lives and welfare is increasingly in jeopardy and their incomes and freedoms already eroded to nearly nothing. They killed MLK for thinking and daring to say that!...and nothing has changed since they did...in fact, things have gotten much worse. They killed JFK for doing things and secretly thinking a milder version of what MLK said, as well. Its a killing and invasion [overt and covert] machine that must be stopped. It is destroying the ecosystem, the chances for Peace, lives, any chance for equal distribution of wealth and more. It is NOT the only one...the USA has man accomplices trailing along the Beast, their leaders hoping to benefit with crumbs left behind - but the greatest danger is certainly the secret government and power structure centered in the USA, but really Globalist and comprising persons from around the World. They killed the dreamer and they killed the dream. There is a LOT of work to do and very little time to do it - if not........it will be 'all she wrote.' :
