Has any one here looked in to this execution and her crime? I had not paid it much attention and just assumed that she did murder her lover and that was that. However, today I had a couple of hours in a library and I spotted a book about her written by her sister Muriel Jakubait. her description of her sister and the murder is quite different from the public story. I couldn't read it all but the gist of it was that she was involved in a sex for hire circle run by Stephen Ward and another man. There were MI6 connections to her activites and the people she was mixing with. Her execution was a welcome diversion to the Mac Lean - Burgess defection and exposure and the heat that brought to some. She was basically sacrificed for some one or something but she was told that they would help her later if she kept quiet. Apparently the judge, prosecutor and her lawyer all were working together too.

Does anyone know about this?

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.
