Jeffrey Sachs Blows it
#1
http://www.ctka.net/2014_reviews/sachs.html

Sachs is a very accomplished economist who didn't quite understand who JFK really was.

Which is why his book is kind of obsolete in these days of Rakove and Muelenbeck.

Al Rossi sent me an email saying, in light of books like this, Douglass' JFK and the Unspeakable may have been a dual edged sword. I had to agree. Even though I wrote a four star review of the book.

Thanks Jim for another great review. How you find time to read all these books then write such detailed review has always amazed me. At least more authors are recognizing the importance of the American U speech and how together the leaders of Russia and USA worked in tandem toward peace.
No mention of Vietnam ....which is huge to miss.

DiEugenio makes the case that unless you show Kennedy and his policies in their entirety you just don't get Kennedy. And if you don't get Kennedy you won't understand why he was assassinated.
