From plaque 3: "The Commission says that Oswald ordered a 36-inch, 5.5 pound Mannlicher Carcano carbine rifle. But this is not the rifle entered into evidence by the Dallas Police. That rifle is a 40.2 inch, 7.5 pound Mannlicher Carcano short rifle. Again, this discrepancy is never noted by the Commission nor is it in the Warren Report."

We also know that the rifle paraded into the street and through the hallways of DPD is visually a different rifle from the one in the National Archives. The photographic comparisons are here on this forum in another thread and elsewhere.

We also know that the rifle in the backyard photos is the wrong size to be either a 40 inch or a 36 inch rifle. If that is truly 5' 9" Oswald in the photo, then the rifle he is holding is at least 43 inches long. (If the backyards photos are faked, there's no telling what rifle is being held.)

Isn't it amazing that this crucial point has taken so many years to surface and take hold.

But I mean, it drives the other side batty.

Taken together, its now the wrong bullet, the wrong rifle, the wrong shell, CE 543 and the wrong bag.

And with the NAA dead and buried, what is the case against Oswald?

As I note near the end, there really was not any. That is why the testimony had to be changed: Norman, Givens, Carolyn Arnold and Marina.

How many Americans actually care about RFK, MLK, Gladio, OKC, 9/11, the USS Liberty, the Gulf of Tonkin, MK/ULTRA, Golden Lily, US support for Israel, and so on? Maybe 10% to 20%? That may be too optimistic.

I've been thinking about this a lot in relation to 9/11. There are a lot of really good critical books, articles and documentaries on 9/11, much of it available for free on the internet. The 9/11 truth movement is pretty tech-savvy, and yet how many Americans are they reaching? Are they getting through to the average brainwashed consumer zombie? I don't think so.

And yes, 70-80% of Americans believe in a conspiracy in the JFK assassination, but what kind of conspiracy do they believe in? There's almost no polling on the subject, but I would bet the results are all over the place.

With 9/11 there seems to be quite of bit of disinformation posed as 9/11 "truth". The one that comes to mind is a video claiming no planes hit the twin towers - that it was all CGI. There's enough of it to make the intellectually lazy simply turn away, which is horrific as it takes only a cursory examination to see that, at a MINIMUM, the official narrative is a fairy tale.


With respect to Plaque 3, Jim - or anyone, can you clarify for me point 29? I'm assuming that post offices in 1963 had slots to drop mail before business hours as they do now. Was it run through a postage meter which would require the office to be open?

My recollection is that the money order was purchased and then mailed at the same post office at the same time. (But perhaps I'm just assuming that.) It was the kind of money order that you can buy at a post office. To buy the money order at the post office, someone had to make a personal appearance.
