I didn't know about the King comment by Obama.
Its what I suspected. They all know what happened to the sixties.
Jim I think it is clear what he meant about King. That "they" assassinated him. I bet he knows about JFK and RFK too. Remember in Dallas in 09 when James Douglass gave the keynote address at COPA and during the q and a. I told him about the then CIA head- Leon Panetta- possibly being afraid of his own CIA and it turned out Jim knew the guy ( LP) and that he had a copy of JFK and The Unspeakable and Jim believed Obama also did. Of course they know.

I did not know that about Panetta and Jim's book.
Interesting eh? They pass around books like Lessons in Disaster and the Douglass book, and then they all deny in public what happened to JFK and RFK and King and giggle when anyone uses the dreaded word conspiracy.
Great country we live in huh?
Which is why I want to retire to Costa Rica.

You were actually there during this so you must have forgotten.
Have you ever been to Costa Rica? We go every winter have a time share there. LOVE IT.
But I don't speak Spanish and have no aptitude so I would have a hard time living there, but we have discussed it, a lot.

I did a mountain-biking/rafting trip in Costa Rica about ten years ago. The highlight was seeing a mini-eruption of the Arenal volcano. Interesting place. Not sure I could live there as my aptitude for learning Spanish is probably not even as good as yours but then again they have no army and
universal health care that is highly regarded.

Its supposed to be really nice.
And now they have utilities that are first rate like internet access.
This has been done because of the growing expatriate community there. Literally thousands of Americans are flocking there every year to live.
People are leaving California by the droves. See, if we had a sealed border, California would be shrinking in population.
Its not anywhere near what it used to be.

Haven't noticed that. Can't wait for it, lol. I live in California. I wish we had the population that we had back in the 70s-80s.

Obama makes 'Freudian slip' about life in the White House

President Barack Obama had a "Freudian slip" regarding his life after the presidency. The president was speaking about federal prisoners at a Hollywood fundraiser hosted by actor-producer Tyler Perry on Thursday night that left many thinking he feels like a prisoner in the White House.
"We should be reforming our criminal justice system in such a way that we are not incarcerating non-violent offenders in ways that renders them incapable of getting a job after they leave office," he said.
The president recognized the "Freudian slip" when the audience started laughing. "Little slip of the tongue there," he added. "Tyler is going to give me a job once I leave." Obama isn't the first president to compare his office to prison. Back in 1993, then-president Bill Clinton called the White House the "the crown jewel of the federal penal system."
"All that is necessary for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing." (unknown)
James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."
Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."
Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."
