The police still refuse to release the second video of the shooting.

Another day, another Police execution of a person that is NOT threatening their lives nor the lives of anyone else. The hallmark of a police state - summary executions of those at the bottom of the societal ladder and creation of a general aura of fear of the police, and national security state above them. Sadly, this apparent epidemic is not new, it is only the smart phone and other electronic devices, have made possible and easy the citizens recording of previously only visually witnessed occurrences more real for the public - and proof of what went on. I think that recently more of the public are less afraid to record even when near the police or when the police tell them to stop filming [as they very often do]. This has been going on for decades, and perhaps is only slightly worse since 9-11, when all the stops were pulled out and all Police and Security/Intelligence forces told to do what they felt they wanted and needed to - with little or no oversight nor fear of accountability. While individual bad officers [and there are a LOT of them] commit these crimes, more of their fellow officers cover up and even lie for the; however the policies and the lack of discipline to stop such events goes up the chain of command to the very top of American power.

"Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience! People are obedient in the face of poverty, starvation, stupidity, war, and cruelty. Our problem is that grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem!" - Howard Zinn "If there is no struggle there is no progress. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and never will" - Frederick Douglass

It says a lot that the reaction of the police woman spokesperson was that the airing of this murder on TV was in bad taste and contributed to threatening the safety of officers. There was a second closer video that the Texas police are still withholding.
The public is apathetic and will probably forget this murder like many others. It is only because of the video technology generation that these regular murders have been exposed that have been going on for centuries. What the media and government avoids is addressing the obvious. That the police have obviously been murdering people this way at their own word and using bs police explanations to justify it up to now. It's very clear to me that Michael Brown was similarly murdered only he didn't have the advantage of a video to capture it. The police are criminals that will use the law to murder you if they can get away with it.

It's clear that the main offense in this total situation was the police overreacting and murdering a citizen in a situation that clearly did not call for that response. This video shows the scene was not as described:

You have to ask why they won't release the second video to the public if it shows him holding a knife, as they claim...
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge. Carl Jung - Aion (1951). The media completely dropped this story because it is all too clear a representation of police brutality that could spark protest.
The refusal to release the second video has to be contempt at this point. This is just the Texas police murdering a latino in-house and not cooperating Texas style just like in the JFK assassination - only world-wide. The message is "Yeah, we murder people. What are you going to do about it?" .

The media has dropped this story cold and is not demanding the second video. This is proof that the media works in a political relationship with the government and suppresses potentially inflammatory stories.
The San Antonio police now dictate what the public can and cannot see and the media obeys. |
