Gratz to SpaceX and Elon Musk. In a 20 minute span of time they launched the Dragon 9 spacecraft to orbital height, deployed 11 satellites, and successfully landed the first stage booster back at Cape Canaveral for re-use. An amazing accomplishment.

Sadly, it was completely ignored by the American media, who seem to think that political gossip is more newsworthy than the single greatest American technological accomplishment since 1969.

James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."

Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."

Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."

Yes quite wonderful. I'm pleased to see they are reusing and not just junking things. Much more successful than last time.

Curious, in a way, that there was a short, fat, shuttlecock-type vertical lander that was successfully demonstrated something like 10yrs ago; seems like it's taken a long time to deploy operationally.

Aside from this, Elon, Musk, Dragon & 9 are all references I get frequently.
