Not sure if this has been posted on here already:

David Ferrie allegedly had a sister who was a lawyer who lived in San Diego in the nineties.

But she would not talk about Dave.

Seems like nobody will talk about Dave.

Thanks for the info.

I found this picture of Parmely and his wife who are on the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial.

How funny, my girlfriend loves that blog. The universe is weird like that.
Anyway, here's a link to the photo. Definitely a family resemblance.

Quite a resemblance indeed, not to mention both brothers knew their way around aircraft.

Wonder if Parmely Ferrie parlayed his military flight skills into flying a commercial brand years afterwards. Or, even perhaps using military cover while flying for an unnamed entity? Does anyone know if Air Force Sgt. Robert G. Vinson actually saw the faces of the two pilots of the mysterious plane (lacking the usual Air Force markings, according to him) that he took from Washington, DC that detoured to Dallas?, where as his story goes a couple of men boarded it after jumping out of an army jeep. One, of course, according to Mr. Vinson, bore a strong resemblance to Lee Harvey Oswald.

If still alive, Would he (Vinson) be able to recognize Parmely's photo as one of the two pilots he flew with that day?

Wish the OP much success as he pursues gathering additional information about Parmely Ferrie.
