Ms. McConahey,
FYI, Sirhan Sirhan did not shoot Robert Kennedy.
According to the autopsy by coroner Thomas Noguchi, the fatal shot was fired from behind and on an upward
angle and from a distance of contact range, i.e., a couple
of inches. Sirhan was always in front of Kennedy and
never closer than three or four feet. He shot others but not Kennedy. The assassin
was probably the "security guard" who was directly behind Kennedy,
Thane Eugene Cesar. He admitted pulling his gun. They both fell to the floor, and Kennedy
pulled off Cesar's clip-on tie. Cesar is still alive
and has never been charged.
