"Beyond Dutroux" ties to the Netherlands

I have visions of Sweeny Todd from this information.

In brief : "Beyond Dutroux" ties to the Netherlands
Nazi sects and aristocrats? Again?! You've got to be kidding me!
May 21, 2009
........................................................................................................................................
The thing with the Beyond the Dutroux Affair article is that in a way it's never completely done. Even without looking for it, every few months I come across new child abuse stories that could be listed in the already packed margin of that article.
Just two days ago I picked up on a child abuse scandal from Ireland: surprise, surprise, it turns out that (also) in that country many thousands of children have been sexually abused by the Catholic clergy. There's no point in discussing this case here, but it did prompt me to do a little updating.
The update for today is related to summaries of non-X-dossier witness testimonies that appeared in the leaked Neufchateau summary document.
The second and most important update, which will be published in a few days, will be dealing with strong evidence that intense emotional suffering that so often is the result of sexual abuse MAY be permanently taken away in as little as 30 minutes. No, I'm not kidding. But this will have to wait a couple of days, as in the long term I'd like a more positive message on top of my page.
The summaries
There were two brief reports in the Neufchateau document that mentioned locations in the Netherlands where at some point child abuse and the disposal of bodies had taken place. They are just tiny left-overs from Beyond Dutroux and its very basic research, but that does not take away that the material is still quite intriguing. There may be (Dutch) researchers out there interested in this stuff and they can use this material as a good place to start.
Remember that some of the main traits of child abuse in Belgium not only involved the national criminal milieu, but also aristocrats with considerable estates, politicians, wealthy businessmen, justice officials, police officers, Catholicist orders (Order of Malta and Opus Dei), and rabidly anti-communist intelligence officers, not to mention militant fascist and Nazi groups. For those who did not read Beyond Dutroux, yep, it's a crazy bunch - but you'll get used to it.
Summary 1: Catharina (PV 150.006, February 20, 1997)
Stated she was the daughter of a wealthy businessman who was involved in a sadistic and violent child abuse network spanning from Italy and Switzerland to Belgium and the Netherlands. Headquarters of the sect would be in Zurich. Among the child abuse locations in the Netherlands she mentioned "In Dordrecht in the house In de Spijkermandt" and that the "attic is organized for a Nazi sect". Some of the children's bodies would disappear "via a butcher shop in Rotterdam in the Van Hellemondstraat". Among the members would be notaries and army officers.

What can we find?
Well, let's see. Dordrecht is a town close to Rotterdam. When you spell it as "In the Speykermand", there's indeed a building located with that name in Dordrecht. It's an old warehouse in the Kuipershaven (Kuipers Harbor). It was built in 1715 by a merchant in nails (in dutch: "spijkers"). After that it was a warehouse for sugar and wine. In 1929 it became a residence and today the building seems to be inhabited by students or something. Interesting detail is that this building does indeed have a very distinct attic, as you can see in the picture below.

In de Speykermand building, May 21, 2009. Although everything seems very peaceful these days
(although the rooms in the building certainly look depressing), this may not have always been the case.
Notice the very distinct attic, which most surrounding buildings don't have (anymore). I'll leave it to
people with the necessary investigative credentials to start knocking on doors, ask questions and dive
into the archives. My work is done.

The "Van Hellemondstraat" sounds a lot like the Van Helmontstraat (Van Helmont Street), right smack in the middle of what has traditionally been a district known in Rotterdam for prostitution. The district mainly consists of larger and smaller warehouses and is part of one of Rotterdam's many harbors. And coincidence or not, it turns out that back in the 1970s and 1980s there used to be a meat processing plant at no. 21 in the Van Helmont Street named "Schop Vleeswaren & Conservenfabriek" ("Schop Meat & Preservation Factory"). The street is approximately 250 yards long.

Van Helmontstraat, May 21, 2009. On the right you can see no. 21. The meat processing plant has been
replaced by several smaller companies related to graphic design and sports. The building is considerably
larger than you can see on the picture and problably took up one third or half of the Van Helmonst Street.
These days the most prominent stores on this street are a second-hand car dealer, a racing tires store, a
chapter of the Satudarah motorcycle club, a bakery and a lettering company.

Summary 2: Anonymous letter (December 13, 1996)
This person wrote about the existence of a sect in the Netherlands consisting of about 300 members, many with backgrounds as lawyers, jurists, judges and police officers. Members held meetings at rural estates where [ritual] child abuse took place. There was a specific focus at maintaining Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) in the children. Apparently, a whistleblower who tried to inform the police was disbelieved and soon thereafter disappeared. The letter specifically mentioned "villa Westflier in Markelo" as a place where abuse had taken place. There's no indication of the time frame in which these events took place.

What can we find?
"Villa Westvlier" clearly is a reference to the Westerflier estate near Markelo and Diepenheim, located in the east of the Netherlands. For Dutch standards, it's in a thinly-populated area. At least in past decades, the domain was about 1200 acres large. The villa on the domain is called the Nijenhuis. Since well before WWII, the estate has been in the possession of a very aristocratic family whose most prominent member today can be found at the High Council of [Dutch] Nobility and the Prince Bernhard Culture Fund. This person has also been an occasional representative of the Dutch royal family. Another family historically tied to the Nijenhuis has held a number of high positions in the Justice department.

More eerily, in 1948 this estate became a government-sponsored boarding school for young girls with emotional and/or behavioral problems. This lasted until the late 1960's. During this time the owner of the estate was a countess whose family had been one of the three founders of the notorious I.G. Farben chemical complex, a bastion of international fascism before and during WWII. The husband of the countess died in 1945. He had been on the advisory board of I.G. Farben.
Have fun with these details.

In addition, the Netherlands has always had a disturbing academic undercurrent seeking to justify and legalize "man boy love".

The Dutch academic papers are effectively a pseudo-intellectual justification of the slobbering nonsense pumped out by NAMBLA, claiming how much the boys "grow" and "develop" from receiving the "loving" attention of adults.

I tried to get a BBC documentary about this commissioned in the mid-90s as part of a film investigating Alfred Kinsey's research. It was becoming clear that much of this research was deeply abusive, and that Kinsey had worked with compulsive and prolific paedophiles.

Quote:In 1981 questions were raised of how Kinsey and his staff gathered the information to produce some of the data in the Kinsey Reports. Attention was directed to Tables 30-34 of Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, which report observations of orgasms in over three hundred children between the ages of five months and fourteen years.[8] Former and current directors of The Kinsey Institute confirmed that some of the information was gathered from nine pedophiles and that Kinsey chose not to report the pedophiles to the authorities, balancing what Kinsey saw as the need for their anonymity against the likelihood that their crimes would continue

Kinsey attempted to disguise the identity of his researchers... um paedophiles. However, it is alleged that one of Kinsey's paedophiles was a shiny booted bona fide Nazi.

Another paedophile, "Mr X" (sic), had personally abused several hundred children, and Kinsey regarded him as a star researcher.

Kinsey's Table 34 documented how 317 infants and children, some as young as 2 months old, were “orally and manually” sodomized around the clock, using stopwatches.

All these many years hearing about the famous Kinsey report I have never heard or read that he utilized pedophiles until reading Jan's post.
Jan what, if anything, became of your BBC doc?

Dawn - the then BBC Head of Factual programmes refused to commission any documentary. She muttered something about it not being in the "public interest".

I wasn't remotely surprized.
