Gen. Walker related to the Bushes?
#1
This came up in the comments to a story on Common Dreams. Is it possible that General Walker might have been related to the Bushes? Does anybody know the genealogy? This is kind of mindboggleing if true.

Hi Richard, do you have the original story and the links to the comments? I wonder if Tom might know as he has a lot of genealogical information available. Linda Minor too.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

No expertise claims by me, but GeorgeHerbertWalker appears to have been born in eastern Missouri in 1875, and EdwinAndersonWalker appears to have been born in southern Central Texas in 1909. If EAW were to be connected relatively GeorgeHerbertWalkerBush, GHW's grandson born in eastern Massachusetts in 1924, it would appear to be somewhat distant, and unlikely.
