My installment on the Nixon Years and the fall of Saigon.
Never have so many praised such a bloated mediocrity.

Thanks for writing your reviews.
I've quoted them in a few discussions.
It's helped me come to a deeper understanding of what happened during my lifetime.
I was particularly struck by the last phrase - summarizing the tragedy of Vietnam:
"the Nixon/Kissinger view of Vietnam and the world eventually eclipsed John F. Kennedy's".

Thanks Bill.
At one time, I was working on a long, detailed examination of how American foreign policy was altered from Kennedy to LBJ to Nixon. I did a lot of reading on this and filled up about a notebook and a half on it. Much of that story concerned Indochina.
The Burns/Novick sell out presented an opportunity to tell that story in contravention to a pure MSM production.
