The Secret Service said yesterday that threats against President Obama are 400% higher than the usual number and averaged 30 per DAY!

Seems that some right wing nut types are still saying he is a Muslim and/or born in Africa. Seems to be a real bee in their bonnet :willy:
In the mean time, being so busy trying to ward off these hundreds of threats could be an excuse for lack of protection in a future attempt on him.

Sad thing is he turns out to be almost as right-wing as those who would kill him...but then he is half African and we can't have that...as we are all decended from Africans!

I am seeing an alarming amount of hatred against Obama and the Democratic party in general on fb. These "liberty" people, mainly Ron Paul supporters, are spreading all sorts of lies about his health plan, the "birthers" are growing in enormous numbers, it's all over MSM- but we here know that is an age old psy op, to make conspiracy truthers look foolish...
I am finding this akin to when we had the Klan to worry about, in other words a huge step backwards. It scares me frankly. My congressman, a good man, Lloyd Doggett, spoke at our local Randalls on Sat and the right wing anti health care reform waccos were there in huge numbers just screaming at him, it made the press every where. These same goons were around to bash Clinton every time he even attempted any type of reform -admittedly not often- but now it's far bigger, there are way more Rush types on the radio and tv giving these people fake bs to rally round.
Strange days indeed.

not yet - he's doing much too well for the Oligarchy on things that really matter to them and fooling the more moderate and progressive dems and independants, for the most part....but if there ever was anyone who has to watch his step not to step on the toes of his masters [sic] it sadly is Obama, who as a person I like - how they turned a community activist with his background into a Clinton clone really shows something of their powers and perhaps hidden abilities.....
