Winston Churchill demanded answer on UFO's
#1
The Ministry of Defence UFO have been publicly released. Amongst them was a memo from Churchill demanding an answer to the UFO phenomena.

One has to conclude that, assuming certain military and intelligence authorities in the UK knew what the truth was, they had no intention of telling Churchill about it.

Alternatively, the UK was kept completely in the dark by the US, a possibility I find hard to completely believe. Certainly the Russians weren't gong to tell him anything about it.

[quote]UFO files: Winston Churchill demanded information on
phenomena

The ''Churchill Memorandum'' sent from the wartime leader on July 28 1952 to Lord Cherwell, secretary of state for air, is one of hundreds of UFO files released by the Ministry of Defence and National Archives.

In the note, Mr Churchill briefly writes: ''What does all this stuff about flying saucers amount to? What can it mean? What is the truth? Let me have a report at your convenience.''

The response to his memo, explained that following an intelligence study conducted in 1951 the ''flying saucers'' could be explained by ''one or other'' of the following four causes:

:: Known astronomical or meteorological phenomena;

:: Mistaken identification of conventional aircraft, balloons, birds etc;

:: Optical illusions and psychological delusions;

:: Deliberate hoaxes.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
