Speaking of Somalia I am unable to locate any current (dated December 2008) reports concerning the current status of Sirius Star, the pirated Saudi-owned super-tanker.

The story appears to have just died away...
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Somali pirates say released Saudi super-tanker

Somali pirates on Friday freed the Sirius Star, a Saudi-owned super-tanker carrying two million barrels of crude oil they hijacked on November in the Indian Ocean, the leader of the pirates told AFP.

"All our people have now left the Sirius Star. The ship is free, the crew is free," Mohamed Said said by phone from the pirate lair of Harardhere.
