This is an article I did for Probe that we just posted at CTKA in tandem with the piece on Anton Batey. I think it does more to explain who Kennedy was and why he did what he did than anything we ever published. It deals with a rather glossed over episode, and a book that has been shamefully overlooked. But i really believe you cannot understand Kennedy unless you examine this episode and deal with it in detail.
Nothing corrects the fabrications and denigrations of Chomsky, Cockburn and Batey as much as this I think. Which is why it has convinced some of their former followers that hey had been hoodwinked.
