Bush Admin - When Covert Secret Govt Surfaced Overtly

While certainly not 'surfacing' fully, to me the most amazing aspect of the Bush Administration was that the Secret Government all but became overt, rose to the 'surface' and showed its fins and wake, if not its full face for all who had eyes open to see. Now 'Nessie' has submerged again - a stance from which they are, perhaps, even more able to do harm. While this Beast has surfaced with each war, covert operation, assasination, bank scandal, corporate swindles, dirty deal, draconian law, etc. - even in lesser, yet malignant, forms in other American Administrations - nothing comes close IMO to the last 8 years. When more convince themselves that 911 was at 'best' LIHOP and more likely MIHOP - and that it connected to the first WTC bombing, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Watergate, all the Wars, all the government overthrows, most of the assassinations et al...the fact that we avoided a complete out-and-out police state [if we have!] is quite amazing and likely due to the internet and those who spoke truth to power and pointed out the connections - making them hesitate - for now. :bebored:
