Mass arrests just happened in Atlanta and larger occupation in Boston. Everyone removed. In Atlanta it was re-occupied. In Boston sanitation dept. under direction of Police put ALL tents, backpacks, cellphones, personal items, tents, etc. in garbage trucks to be destroyed! Some Vets for Peace beaten in Boston. Hear Seattle about to under mass arrests too. The 1% is afraid and tonight is the night of the long swords!....

In Seattle, interesting situation. Police poised to arrest. Mayor against it. Now, standoff.

These raids and arrests are done at night, so MSM is not there to cover it.

Atlanta's second 're'-occupation now under attack, as well.

Confused situations. Boston is as I posted....only one of two parks raided. All arrested, some beaten and ALL tents, personal property, sleeping bags, food, communications equipment, computers etc. thrown in garbage trucks for destruction! I think unprecedented evil!
Atlanta said Police have retreated for now.
St. Louis has been warned, but not yet raided.
Unsure about Dallas - their links down - apparently OK for now
Seattle also tense, but unsure - number of Police increasing by the hour.
SF is OK after some rumors.

Stay tuned...it seems someone[s] started many rumors or there was fear as Police assembled and warned in several locations, but only Boston to my knowledge was raided [one of two locations was decimated!]

Watch live here. They are occupying the Hart Senate Building. The Senate Police have locks all doors to all Senate offices and to be honest are being lenient to the protesters....but I think that will soon end. Two arrests so far. I watched one Policeman talk to a disabled Vietnam Vet in a wheelchair and he was civil... Chaos rules in the building now and the protesters have the 'floor' and are shouting their slogans.

Boston Police Brutally Assault Occupy Boston

At 1:30 this morning hundreds of police in full riot gear brutally attacked Occupy Boston, which had peacefully gathered on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The Boston Police Department made no distinction between protesters, medics, or legal observers, arresting legal observer Urszula Masny-Latos, who serves as the Executive Director for the National Lawyers Guild, as well as four medics attempting to care for the injured.

Earlier in the day, an estimated ten thousand union members, students, veterans, families, men, and women of all ages marched from the Boston Common to Dewey Square, and then to the North Washington Bridge to demand economic reform on Wall Street and the end of special interest influence in Washington.

Following this massive outpouring of public support, dozens of police vans descended on the Greenway, with batons drawn, assaulting protesters and arresting more than one-hundred people. Members of Veterans for Peace carrying American flags were pushed to the ground and their flags trampled as the police hauled them away.

Following the raid, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis made no mention of veterans, organized labor, students, or families, nor did he issue an apology for his department's aggressive tactics. Since the beginning of its occupation, Occupy Boston has worked tirelessly and successfully to maintain a positive working relationship with city officials. Today's reprehensible attack by the Boston Police Department against a movement that enjoys the broad support of the American people represents a sad and disturbing shift away from dialogue and towards violent repression.

Despite the city's attempt to silence us, Occupy Boston remains, and bears no ill-will towards the men and women of the Boston Police Department who were simply following orders. We hope that someday the peaceful pursuit of economic justice will not provoke the beating of elderly veterans and the arrest of medics and legal observers. We encourage everyone who continues to feel as strongly as we do about limiting the influence of Wall Street on our democracy to join us tomorrow, and in the future, down in Dewey Square.

So far all has been very peaceful in Portland.Their is good communication between the Mayors office and Police dept.Haven't heard of any violent actions by police or demonstrators.Hopefully we can set the tone for others:

Tomorrow we march! We march with the mayor's office, the Portland police department and the Portland marathon chief officers. The mayor's office graciously invited us to join the race, behind the runners at 2:30PM. We follow them from the Rose Quarter, over the Broadway Bridge, along Naito Parkway, West on SW Jefferson to SW 4th to the occupied Chapman Park/camp/headquarters.
Together the city will join in celebration of John Lennon's birthday, singing his famous song, "Imagine."
