When you see the wiki page, you realise the monumental scale of this entire scandal. Even the Mayor of Ankara was questoned by police!
There are several articles in the Turkish press about political involvement and the links with organised crime which I will try to dig up. In terms of Turkey, some incredibly powerful and important people are implicated here, one of them being Fenerbche president Aziz Yildirim.
