Is Obama working to fulfill the dreams of Frank Marshall Davis? That question has been impossible to answer, since Davis's writings and relationship with Obama have either been deliberately obscured or dismissed as irrelevant.

Irrelevant being the operative word here. This book is a pile of opportunistic crap if ever there was. I don't care if Obama is Rosa Luxemburg's and Stalin's love child. He is no communist and to imply otherwise shows an ignorance beyond breathtaking. By their work they shall be known.

Ah yes, that would be Paul Kengor, author of "The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism", and founder member of Austrian School and Evil Red Empire nutcase thinktank, The Center for Vision and Values.

It's part of Grove City College, which hosts several thinktanks and appears to be a school dedicated to "faith and the free market".

Mitt Romney

Templeton "recently joined" Republican 2008 presidential candidate Mitt Romney's "National Faith and Values Steering Committee, a group that includes an antiabortion activist and a fellow from the Heritage Foundation."[4]

Freedom's Watch

Templeton, "a former trauma surgeon and a born-again Christian",[5] is one of several prominent conservatives funding Freedom's Watch, a new White House front group[6] which on August 22, 2007, began "a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign to urge members of Congress who may be wavering in their support for the war in Iraq not to 'cut and run'."[3]

Connections to Koch Brothers

Templeton was acknowledged at the privately held Koch seminar in June 2011 in Vail, Colorado for donating at least $1 million to Koch-related causes.

Shows you how little I pay attention to the birthers and their theories that I only recently heard of this idea that Frank Marshall Davis is Obama's real father. It certainly makes more sense. I've always wondered why Junior doesn't look anything like Obama Sr. There is a real resemblance between Davis and Obama.

Only the right-wing sites seem interested in this, and of course the issue hits all of their hot-buttons ("Communists! Nude photos! Promiscuous white woman sleeping with black men!"). Those people are really a hundred different kinds of repressed craziness.
