(This post was last modified: 06-06-2017, 09:33 PM by Scott Kaiser.)
I did promise releasing my update, and, I may have to wait till all the publishers shoot me down and pass on my material, unfortunately, I did enter into a two year contract with someone who asked he represent me, at that time, I thought it was a great idea, I now know I didn't put too much thought into it.
The publisher my acting agent was working with had this to say;
Skyhorse is going to pass on ASSASSINS.
Scott may have an interesting story in there, but it needs to be clear up front what that story is. It may be that Scott is not sure himself; potential readers, however, will want to know quickly what the book will be about and why it is important to them.
Thank you for letting me take another look.

I, feeling a bit defensive had to respond, so I said;
As I said, if we could somehow get out of this contract as I did with Trineday I would, nor will I any longer post at any forum(s) regarding this information. It appears as though everyone already has the answers. After talking to my family, my mother and sister is hopeful our full story never gets out, there's just too much out there already, there's even authors who believes in UFO's and little green men for Christ sake!
Funny how Joe says, "It may be that Scott is not sure himself" for clarification, and clarification only... Joe, I know exactly what has happened though-out the course of my father's life, and those who worked with him. Perhaps, it's you who don't understand what it is I'm saying? I can't say it anymore plainly then the facts I've already produced? And, what I'm saying in this email is for clarification purposes only, nothing more.
I pray Ricci is unable to find a publisher within the next year and a half, which is, how much time is left on my contract with him to secure a publisher, or I will have to for-fill my obligations with Ricci. I am not prepared to pay a large bill to get out of my contract, however, I do want to thank you for passing on my material. I am only writing you in response to your statement, you could have said anything else which would have been okay by me, but to say, I don't understand what I'm saying is insane. I should have had a serious talk with my mother before entering into this contract with Ricci and pouring too much into my father's life story that I once thought was important to share, somethings really are better left unsaid, and untold in this case, I suppose there's nothing wrong with those who believe in little green men? Perhaps, that's who kill that president? LOL... I'm better off writing a thriller, or something else, and leave my father's history in the past.
Thanking you again for looking at it, more so for passing it up, I was kind of hoping you would, as always, I am.
Very Truly,
Scott Kaiser

I suppose I was acting out before understanding what he was trying to tell me, he than responded saying;
Mr. Kaiser-
I meant no insult by the comment, and I apologize if it read otherwise. I was referring to certain passages where you raise questions about the meanings of documents or events related to your father.
Naturally, anyone in that position can have similar questions. My point is that the book has to make the best case for what they mean rather than inviting the reader to ponder the mystery in conjunction with the author.
I wish you luck with the project, whether that means a deal with another publisher or letting it go unpublished.
Take care-

That will sure teach me to think before I act, however, I did have one last thing to say, and that was;

I than apologize for misunderstanding your verbiage, and took it that way. In-case you haven't figured it out by now, no one, not a single author can make a point in case regarding JFK or Watergate. Garrison tried, and look what happened? Well, Watergate I do fully expose, but, as I've said, readers don't want to be told from any author what the case in point is, when there's more than a million examples already printed about just how every author knows what happened, unfortunately, I don't, and I can't say I do, thus is the reason I leave it up to the reader to ponder their own judgment without injecting my own. I believe there are enough authors who have already done that? But, that's neither here nor there. One thing we can both agree on is that this material should not get published.
Have a good day sir!
In short- depending on the time I have entered into contract with, if all fails by the time this contract is up, perhaps, it's best to leave the unknown alone.
