Garbage in, garbage out.

I've both made and been around documentaries with near million dollar budgets, with hi-tech computer wizardry doing everything from bringing the Titanic back to life to changing the composition & elements of fast moving frames.

Computer simulations are a form of magick, a sleight of hand, an alluring deception.

Nearly all the best and most truthful films I've seen have been entirely devoid of computer simulations.

Discovery's film will doubtless be superficially convincing if it employs the techniques talked about here:

"We might never know if Oswald pulled the trigger, but when you look at the wind pattern, the spread of the debris, the angles and distances involved, it's consistent with a shot from the sixth floor depository," said Martin.
This kind of computer analysis has only been available for about five years, says Martin. He expects criminologists will continue to make use of 3-D crime scene simulations to help reconstruct events and gather evidence a 2-D picture alone can't reveal.

Discovery's computer will be fed with all sorts of dubious, indeed false, data to fit a pre-existing hypothesis that the shots came solely from the sixth floor of the Book Depositry.
