David Guyatt Wrote:Dyke was forced out of the BBC over the tiny inaccuracy of BBC reporter Andrew Gillingan over the Dr. David Kelly affair.
This whole affair was, imo, a double victory for the Government of the day. Firstly, they covered-up a teling murder by presenting it as suicide and secondly they took advantage of a tiny detail of misreporting of the affair (the great bulk of Gilligan's report was accurate and factual) to out Dyke, who obviously was a thorn in their (and the Beeb's) side.
It's good to see Dyke take them on. Bravo to him.
Good man! How'd he ever get in the BBC?....well people do change - and sometimes for the better and away from the 'Dark Side'. Sad he is being ignored. I imagine if he were really 'listened' to and given a open hearing he'd die mysteriously like Kelly....sadly. Can't have such dangerous truths out and about!
