Yes, Truman delighted in poking fun at the rich and famous. He was sued by Gore Vidal for repeating a story from Lee Radziwill that Gore behaved so badly at a party given at the White House that he was thrown out. He also said that 70 to 80% of Lee's and Jackie's friends were homosexuals. Truman was Lee Radziwill's number one confidant
