Helen Reyes Wrote:Whatever that nonsense was about The Official Browser of the Wikileaks TM Revolution, this is actually very clever on Assange's part. The MSM keep whining away with headlines like "Wikileaks: The Future of the Press?" and Assange comes along and says, "It's OK, guys, you can still play, too!" and hands them shovels and little buckets as he guides them gently into the sandbox.Well, they sure do need reminding what to do and how to do it. It's been a damn long time since they've done anything remotely like it. But yes. A very good move on his part. Will they continue to play their part though? Time will tell I suppose.

Jesus wept. I have not looked at any of the German coverage of this.

If Julian Assange is wrong about 9/11, Barry Soetoro and so on, and he probably is or has been over the years, fine, but I'm not interested in finding 100% political correctness or elevating anyone to media icon status, I'm interested in ending the wars and the coup d'etat in the so-called (former) Western democracies.Yep. End the wars and a lot more. But this is a good place to start. I'm not interested so much in him being 100% correct or informed about this or that issue. There is lots more to do and so far wikileaks is doing more than any other organisation to do it. While the site has been inactive publicly for the best part of this year it has been very active behind the scenes with the Collateral Murder video, Iceland Modern Media Initiative and now thes docs. In the mean time despite the lack of public activity Wikileaks has managed to stay in the public eye because of the wikileaks whistleblower and Manning's arrest. Doesn't look like this was Manning's work if they are still looking for the source. He was in Iraq anyway wasn't he?
