Kyrgyzstan, America and the Global Drug Trade: Deep Forces, Coups d'Etat, Narcotics and Terror

This article really made things clear for me. I have long been wondering why the global war on drugs continues as it does, and why so many people, who you would expect to have common sense, supports it. The politicians comes up with many reasons for this war, one more ridiculous than the other. But it is really obvious that this war does nothing to protect or help the people it is supposed to protect and help. On the contrary, it makes things worse for everybody! (I will elaborate on this on request)

This article seems to explain some of the motivations for keeping up this war on drugs, in spite of the obvious damage it does. And it gives me yet another reason to support full legalization and regulation of all drugs. Thanks for posting.
