Nah Gary knows well who he is and WAS.... Mean average for big city museum curator is around 80 grand/yr. Considering the 6th Floor Museums sole subject matter and location, I suspect he pulls down anywhere between 70-100 grand a year. Plus all those Texas perks. Broadcast and Cable Networks paying usage rights for material you control, on-camera gigs everytime you turn around... Not bad for an old radio guy.... Gary probably owns his own Television/Video Production Company and Consultancy firm, too. I damn sure would.
No, I think Badgeman has been very, very good to Gary Mack. Wouldn't it be nice if Jack White fared as well? I doubt Gary would disclaim Badgeman, under any circumstances. Badgeman got Gary Mack where he is today...
Gary is the consumate PR pro... rumored he once said, IF by some far out chance the Zapruder Film IS altered, just think of the traffic the 6th Floor Museum would experience (tsk-tsk)....
