They (audio CDs, actually -- although I think I'm the last person in America to have a new car with a CD changer AND cassette deck; thank God for Bose and Nissan) have not. I received shipping (from the U.K.) confirmation, and I expect them to arrive this week.
I'm eager to play TTSS. It's difficult to imagine a dramatization that could top the brilliant editing and arc-within-arc structure of Arthur Hopcraft's original screen adaptation. So too Sir Alec's embodiment of George Smiley.
But man, I'm open to the possibilities.
If only Anne were here to listen with me.
Perhaps I should join the cue.
