Question: Factual or Propaganda? "British government begins stealing its peoples’ bank deposits.."

Thanks for the articles, Jan. The op as history was real. But the opening line of the article suggested it is happening again (? at a time of the London riots, too?). Is it happening again? There is a lot of fear-mongering (or is it reality?) that the government will step in and seize safety deposit boxes here in the USofA, and that it will step in and seize pensions, 401(k)s, etc., and that it will cease/seize/freeze Social Security and Medicare. What's a nervous nellie to do? These days, you can't even pack $40,000 of your own money in a suitcase and take it down the road without having it seized.
