Mr. Drago,
I never said the entire conspiracy case hinges on the identity of the Doorway Man. How could I possibly say that? What about the Magic Bullet? What about all the Grassy Knoll witnesses? What about the bullet trajectories? What about the movement of JFK's back and to the left? I agree with you that the case for conspiracy and Oswald's innocence can be made without relying on the Doorman evidence.
But, the problem is that we have reached a stalemate with the other side about those other things. They do have pat answers, talking points, to all those other things. I don't say that they are valid, but they do roll off their tongues.
But, the Doorway Man was wearing Oswald's shirt. And it was a very unique shirt. And his whole manner of dress was unusual, and it was the same as Oswald. To assume that Doorman was Lovelady requires you to assume that a tremendous coincidence occurred that day in the way Lee Harvey Oswald and Billy Lovelady decided to dress. And the unlikelihood of that should be very troubling- to everybody. Coincidences don't just happen. We should be skeptical. Why do I even have to tell you that?
This new evidence of the matching collars/lapels of Doorman's shirt to Oswald's is a goldmine. Why can't you see it? The other side has no talking points for it. There is a chance here to influence the public in a major way like never before. When people can see something with their own eyes, it impresses them, more than words can. They are wearing the same unique shirt. Just look at it, and stop fighting it.
