Peter Lemkin Wrote:Bill, I hope you don't 'buy' the story that LHO shot Walker....cause it ain't so....was part of the legend they forced on Lee - some before, most DURING, some after.
I have always noted to myself there was something sinister that needed explaining about LBJ's insisting on being sworn in on the plane.....I think you've found the answer.....and that goes a LONG way to connecting the 'dots'. It also indicates to me that if LBJ was not let in on the plot some while before the event, he was given enough hints to piece it together when it happened...and reacted immediately to secure his position in the cabal, lest he be bypassed completely.
Thanks for all the comments, and to Lauren for providing the correct link to the updated version.
And no, Peter, I don't buy the idea that Oswald took the shot at Walker any more than he killed JFK.
It's just that Volkmar Schmidt mentioned Walker and associated him with the plot to kill Hitler. When I asked Schmidt if he felt guilty for inspiring Oswald to take a shot at Walker he replied he felt guilty every time he drove through Dealey Plaza - as if he felt guilty for the assassination of JFK, not the Walker shooting.
In any case, I haven't had time to read all the responses but will and get back to you on the comments.
