Well, have to say I sighed a small sigh of relief....Romney and those behind him frightened me even more than those behind Obama. We are still left with someone who daily reviews his kill list, pursues any war and death by drone action his military ask [or tell] him to; who allows the banksters free-reign and has put only two I can remember in prison [because they stole from the rich, not the poor]; is still working for the big corporations and not the People IMHO [rhetoric to the contrary]. We still have the [un]Patriot Act and sister legislation, you can be arrested and tortured without trail, evidence given in court or ever seeing a lawyer. You can even be killed without due process at the President's [or some above him's] will. We still have a full on 'war on [of] terror'; We are spied upon electronically and by FBI, CIA, NSA, NSA, DHS spies; we have the highest % of citizens in prison - most for non-violent crimes - many for having drugs the Govt. brought in! - or the crime of being poor or Black; Neither 911 nor Dallas have EVER REALLY been investigated - as opposed to covered-up, and the government is even trying its best not to allow citizen investigators do that work. Etc. Et. al.
We still only have a one-party system, even if it has two wings with some differences between them; We still do NOT have most Americans aware enough of the treason against and subversion of our laws and Constitution - the many coups and covert operations, government overthrows [including out own]; the false-flag ops small and large that have become a common feature; We still have most Americans thinking they participate in politics every two or four years by voting - when they must participate with their every action and perhaps inaction [like a general strike or go to a protest]; most are still addicted to junk diversions like TV, junk food, junk information (propaganda rather than news), junk science, junk education, junk history, and just plain junk they don't need or is killing them and the Planet.
A hell of a lot of work to do, IMHO.....in reversing completely the trend that both wings of the single party have steered [at the behest of their real masters] the Nation away from democracy and any civility, equality, compassion, justice, or learning from history and planning for the future - since WW2 [even before]. It is a ship of state headed for disaster and most Sheeple on the deck just along for the ride.....
So, IMO, it could have been worse, but it is still horrible as we awake this day. For any who have not read Tarpley's book The Unauthorized Biography of Barrack Obama, I suggest it highly to understand the strings which control him. A look at his advisors, especially those from the 'financial/banking/coporate' Empire also give one strong clues as to who he serves....and the connections between the two 'parties'...
Roll up your sleeves.....and don't rejoice....get active....as it is either US or the Deep Political Cabal in control. Time is short.
