How bad is that storm?
I read some reports that it was supposed to be a real bad one.
How many inches of snow do you have right now?
And what is the forecast?
I heard it extends from New Jersey to Maine.
I have relatives who live in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Is it expected to move that way?
Jim,
At 9:45 AM, the storm is over in southern New England but for a few flurries and a light but steady snow over the outermost Cape.
Sorry, but I'm not sure about Pennsylvania and Ohio.
We're looking at 28" to 30" in Rhode Island. Preparedness seems to have been first-rate; unlike the situation post-Blizzard of '78 (which I survived, although it was touch and go for my liver), highways are open and city streets are becoming passable.
No loss of electricity for me, but thousands are without power.
It was a great night to read Destiny Betrayed, enjoy a lovely but not overly ostentatious bottle of claret, and enjoy the enveloping silence that only a serious snowfall can provide.
Be well.

If an individual, through either his own volition or events over which he had no control, found himself taking up residence in a country undefined by flags or physical borders, he could be assured of one immediate and abiding consequence: He was on his own, and solitude and loneliness would probably be his companions unto the grave.
