An excerpt : Seven months earlier, Dulles was likely paying close attention to Operation Anthropoid: the assassination of Prague SS chief Reinhard Heydrich. That conspiracy had multiple similarities to the JFK assassination. They include: 1) a motorcade attack at a hairpin turn; 2) signals; 3) an open, virtually stopped vehicle; 4) two attacks, five seconds apart, the first inconclusive; and 5) "passers-by" directing the crowd in its confusion. And, as in Dallas, there were unanticipated mistakes in Prague.
The physical aspects do resemble the events at Dealey Plaza. The political aspects differ.
What is also unique about the JFK assassination is that a large crowd of people observed it, saw where some of the shots were coming from, yet no one was able to correctly identify the shooters or to have them be captured. The planning for crowd control and the intimidation of witnesses was well planned. The lack of honest law enforcement and judicial actions was the shame of Dallas and Washington.
Thank you, Magda and Vasilios, for your replies.
