The timing here is stunning!
The WCR informs us that on November 22[/SIZE] at "11:26 p.m. Fritz signed the complaint charging Oswald with the murder of President Kennedy." That's 12:26 AM Nov. 23 Eastern (DC) time. During the wee hours of the morning, Hoover and the FBI apparently managed to identify many of the areas of conflict that would expose the identities of the two young boys merged into Lee Harvey Oswald and, if that wasn't enough, make arrangements to have agents on site to confiscate records by 9 am that very morning.
As David suggests, the uncommonly fast FBI analysis and response begs the question of whether Hoover already had detailed knowledge of the two Oswalds. He surely did, and may have learned this not long after June 3, 1960. If you're not already familiar with the document below, be sure to read the last full paragraph.
