1. Don't the error figures creep back down eventually? How far does the target have to be for the bullet to come back to the LOS under the 2 scenarios you did above? And how (if at all) does this affect the regular sights, which were supposed to be "zeroed" at some specific number by the manufacturer?
2. What does the chart look like if you make Frazier's 100 yard shots come out "right," i.e. if he can hit 2.5 to 5 inches above at 100 yards, what do the shorter numbers look like?
PS: the FBI said in a report in 1964 that the angle change from "magic bullet" to head shot was actually 3 degrees upward and 1.5 degrees to the right, not left. Still, not much of a lead, if any, would be required, if 1.5 degrees right happens in 2-3 seconds and the bullet makes the journey in 1/10th of a second or so. This particular report from Hoover to the Commission, (dated 1/20/64 Weisberg file 298) has the FBI promoting the idea that the first shot that hit JFK was not the shot that hit Connally, a position it maintained from its first report 12/9/63 to 1/20/64 (at least).
