We're dealing with semantics here. No one accused Bill Clinton of causing Hale Boggs' plane to vanish. The important and interesting point here is that Clinton was a young, seemingly unconnected guy at that point in his life. How did he get in a position to drive such a powerful person to the airport? And while that flight wasn't into oblivion, it did represent Boggs' exit from the political world.

Um, no, Don. This is your quote from an earlier post:

And never forget that Hale Boggs was driven to the airport, where he boarded his flight to oblivion, by a then unknown, young aspiring politician named Bill Clinton....

It's kind of a big difference, driving somebody to an airport in Texas where they boarded a plane to Alaska, and then they died on a different plane the next day. And my Googling shows other websites where they try to represent Clinton as the guy responsible for Boggs' crash.
