Obviously we need some kind of protection from this and Congress should enact an accuracy in reporting law where FOX and O'Reilly can't just look the other way and get away with it.
We also seriously need a law that if more accurate information is reasonably available or a media company has been informed of it that it would be illegal to broadcast lesser information or propaganda against the truth as the media has been criminally doing.
There's a reason those Republican shit-heels under Reagan repealed the fairness doctrine. O'Reilly's lies are a good example of the trickle-down self-policing of corporations.
