Brice Taylor: Thanks for the Memories
#11
I have a lot of respect for Walter Bowart and if he says he is inclined to believe her that would effect my thinking.

But my cynicism is, never-the-less, still operative. Seeing her as a hostess with Bob Hope doesn't make him to be her Monarch owner.

In the last analysis it comes dow to belief. Do you believe her or not.

Her references to Operation Monarch, Mark Phillips and Cathy O'Brien was a loud alarm bell for me.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
Carl Jung - Aion (1951). CW 9, Part II: P.14
