Sean McPhilemy won £145,000 libel damages against the Sunday Times who had published an article alleging that McPhilemy's claim about the existence of 'The Committee' was a hoax. He was also awarded costs estimated at around £1 million.

It was Nobel Peace Prize winner David Trimble, now Lord Trimble and named as an 'Associate' of the Committee, who initiated a claim for libel against McPhilemy's publishers in the US back in 2000 (No British publisher would touch the book). I'm pretty sure that there hasn't been a judgement one way or the other because, either way it would be headline stuff.
Trimble has won an apology and 'undisclosed damages' from Amazon.co.uk for selling the book back in 1998 and again in 2001 without a law suit. As of today you can still buy it at Amazon.co.uk for $52 - available in the US for about $5.
I can't find anything on the current status (if it is still current) of the US action.
