The small aircraft a D-18 was also flown by Lester Murphy to bring Galandiz back to the United States from Domican Republic in 1957 I think it was. It was reg to 'Atlantic Richfield", at one time.

The DC-3 was known as 'Bobby's Bird" it worked along side the raider ship Rex a CIA communications ship often berthed at the Kennedy Compond at West Palm Beach. Both the ship and the aircraft were used around Cuba and Central America for a number of years. This DC-3 was NOT the one flown into Dallas that day.
