A letter drawn up and sent to the Russians on D-Day two dated April 18, 1961 promising the Russians there would be no American intervention, and you reneged on your promise to the Brigade. Mr. President, lets face facts, although, to some here and abroad, they'd rather pretend facts don't exist. But, lets face it, you were "soft on communism" as Howard Hunt said, you delayed the air-cover, as Frank Sturgis said, and you backed out of your promise to the Brigade, as the Brigade said. Who am I to judge? My point is, don't make promises you can't keep!
