To me, Trump is a character in a play called The War Against Democracy. The war is a psyop using many tools. He is no useful idiot. As presidents come and go, the same process continues on. Obama was a character in that play as well.
Don't think I disagree with you regarding Russian oligarchy. The Russian oligarchs are a crude bunch. Ours have been more civilized until Trump came along. Whether civilized or not, oligarchs are oligarchs.
