No, I don't know that. Why would the capitalist oligarchs finance the most bitter and resolute enemies of capitalism? Have you ever read any of their program documents, major speeches, books or articles? What did they gain from this financing? The US didn't even recognize the USSR until 1933. Although they did send troops along with 12 other western countries with the intention of destroying the Bolsheviks in 1918.

Interestingly, many years ago I was told by the grandson of the British Army officer who took charge of the Russian railway system during the Allied Military Expedition in 1918, that he purposely withheld railway cars full of supplies of war materials destined for the "white movement's" Admiral Kolchak's last stand defence of Moscow. Consequently Moscow fell to the Bolsheviks and the USSR was birthed.
The British Army officer was being directed by an unknown hand in the UK, according to his correspondence and diaries, the grandson said - although he hinted at the identity...
The same officer, apparently, directed the train wagons (many, many of them) loaded with the vast Russian treasury of gold that was being sent to a safe haven for Tsar Nicholas II. All that treasure disappeared. Approx 10 years ago, Putin's Russia claimed some of it back from China. It has apparently ended up in Harbin (at least in part).
One can only imagine why it was sent there, but the British are known by the French as perfidious Albion for a reason.
Not least, I believe the Tsar's urgent request for the travel of himself and his immediate family to safety in England was rejected by hist first cousin, Kind George V. Their execution followed.
Power and greed wrapped in the cunning and cynical foreign policy is what drives "nations". To camouflage their personal vileness and avarice they cloak it in the flag and call it "the national interest".
As ever, the ordinary people of the world fall for this faery tale because they, alone, are loyal to the nation of their birth -- whereas the real movers and shakers don't give a sh*t about it and never have. For them it's a useful vehicle to advance their selfish interests and nothing more.
