Over at the EF Swamp, Evan "Jonathan Swift" Burton writes the following:
"Yep, it was me. As you and others have pointed out, some members of the DPF (and I stress only some) enjoy slagging off at myself and others, as well as telling completely inaccurate stories regarding their departure and subsequent events (of which they know full well). I get sick of such lies being told about me.
"It was a childish act on my part, a "prank" which should not have been done, and members here have the right to expect better of me.
"For this, I apologise to the members here.
"To the ex-member concerned, I give no apology; my opinion of them stands."
This "apology" is tantamount to John Wilkes Booth apologizing for interrupting the play ... or Charlie Manson apologizing for dragging blood over Sharon Tate's new white carpets ... or Adolph Hitler apologizing for being too aggressive in his efforts to create weight-loss programs for the morbidly obese of Eastern Europe.
Burton, the quintessential liar, attempts to justify his umbrage and its semi-literate, punk manifestation by ... wait for it ... telling more lies.
Best of all, he refuses to apologize to the ostensibly injured party (of course, since I do not suffer the judgments of fools or liars ... ).
Then we have this from the sage Robert Charles-Dunne:
"I am calling upon Evan Burton as a gentleman to do the right thing, so that this can be put to rest. Perhaps, as a gentleman, Mr. Drago would in future likewise refrain from passing comment - that serves no great purpose - on members here upon his own site."
So much for Burton the "gentleman."
And given the fact that RC-D apparently views the exposure of agents provocateur and liars to be "no great purpose" -- So much for RC-D the seeker of truth and justice.
