Pleased I'm not buying these toys. Don't do Christmas and always buy hand made presents by local artists. I do occasionally buy computer and tech stuff which would be made under the same conditions.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

I fly R/C Aircraft. I had quit in 1992 and started again in 2008.
When I quit kit planes were the rule manufactured in the US.
Kits were the pre-made parts built by the modeler into a miniature aircraft.
Not a toy - ask any aircraft modeler.

In 2008 there are very few kits available.
Many Many ARF (almost ready to fly) planes are sold.
Those no doubt products of child slavery.
The R/C Radios I buy are from Japan
but I suspect that work too is farmed out to the child slaves elsewhere. Indonesia, China, Malaysia etc.

Slavery is the same, even if you get an inadequate wage you are still a slave.
I build my aircraft from scratch or plans.
I will not knowingly support child slavery or wage slavery.

However I too buy electronics that are likely the same. So I too am guilty.
Read not to contradict and confute;
nor to believe and take for granted;
nor to find talk and discourse;
but to weigh and consider.
