Menninger's book deserves an award for being the all-time most asinine piece of disinfo on the assassination.

I generally ignore this rag for this very reason. They won't go near the truth but when it comes to a bullshit story like this it's fair game. I love it, "accidentally" shot him.

The 50th is looking like the year of massive disinformation.

With whose purveyors we must be content to merrily agree to disagree.

Correct?

The thing is, this was already out there back in the nineties.

Now they revive it?

It was already discredited by photos.

So this is going to be on TV and Hanks' shitty movie will be in theaters?

Alas, not the beginning.

The intensification of the LBJ-as-mastermind operation has been noted for some months now and is openly scheduled to continue through the fall. The work of one of its prime Facilitators, "author" Phillip Nelson (prime exponent of the "mastermind" characterization), recently was referenced on this forum and prompted a generally admirable JFK assassination author to note that we are obliged by the dictates of professional courtesy not to challenge the motives of our fellow correspondents, but rather to bow from the waist (my description) and politely "agree to disagree" with them when necessary.

Where does such courtesy end?

Do we extend it to the most vociferous and suspect of lone nutters?

What I really love is

Quote:Donahue wrote about his theory decades ago, but McLaren said it's taken decades -- and the release of thousands of JFK-related documents during the Clinton administration -- for a proper review of all the evidence and information related to the case. The authors acknowledged Sunday that there are many other books and films on the assassination, but said theirs is unique because it is based on a new review of the documents released during the 1990s.

Disinformation works in mysterious ways, its wonders to perform ...
