GWB and the 1993 bomb
#1
I was watching a YouTube video on 9/11 and I saw a New York Times front page from the day after the 1993 bombing of the WTC. I had a WTF moment when I glimpsed it.

The sub-headline said "Commentary: what role did baseball exec George W. Bush play in WTC bomb?" (my emphasis)

Interesting that the Times felt it worthy to mention Bush's name in conjunction with the early 1993 bombing.

I will see if I can find this in their archives to see what the text was underneath the headline. Has anyone else looked at this?

I'd be interested to find out what part he played?
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

That front page looks kind of fake/photoshopped to me.

I have carefully reviewed the archives of the New York Times and have been unable to locate that article, or even the prominent headline directly above it.
"All that is necessary for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing." (unknown)

James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."

Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."

Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."

well, it wouldn't surprise me that it couldn't be found, either way.

Having just googled it, I'm going with "fake" too.

Despite that there are some very odd connections to the 93 bombing. Particularly the FBI who supplied the bomb and probably the patsies.

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

Interestingly, I found a tweet where someone had asked essentially the same question as me, i.e. if it was genuine.

The guy said to me he's had no response to his tweet "..and no reply from the Times, who reproduced this (purported) 26 Feb 1993 NYT cover on 11 Sept 2014. Not in NYT archive".

Oh, there is much to say on this topic - one more widely hidden and covered-up that the later WTC attacks...but the FBI, as Magda says, did provide the explosives and was aware of it at every stage - likely guiding and instigating it. Later, they threw in jail the main patsy's lawyer. Some who were involved in this event were also said to have been in the 9-11-01 event...if at first you don't succeed, try, try, again....FBI et al.

I have not researched this, but suppose that this 'headline' is an invented/photoshopped one by someone in cyberspace, and not a real NYT artifact.

W was not, to my knowledge involved nor aware of EITHER event....until after the fact.
