The Idiot Right is funny at times.....::
Phyllis Schlafly thinks that President Obama wants Ebola on American soil so the U.S. can become more like Africa.
Schlafly made the assertion in an interview, flagged by Right Wing Watch, with far-right website WorldNetDaily. The interview centered on baseless right-wing claims that migrant children from Central America are responsible for the outbreak of a respiratory virus in the U.S. Schlafly who rose to prominence with her campaign against the Equal Rights Amendment in the 1970s pinned the blame for Ebola and the respiratory virus squarely on Obama."There are all kinds of diseases in the rest of the world, and we don't want them in this country," she said. "And it's Obama's job to keep them out." She want on to say that "letting these diseased people into this country to infect our own people" is "the most outrageous" thing Obama has done in his presidency.
Why does Schlafly think Obama is intentionally trying to infect Americans with dangerous diseases? It's the exceptionalism, stupid.
"Obama doesn't want America to believe that we're exceptional," Schlafly asserted. "He wants us to be just like everybody else, and if Africa is suffering from Ebola, we ought to join the group and be suffering from it, too. That's his attitude."
